In an effort to raise standards, Emirates Post has entered into alliances with global postal corporations companies. Emirates Post gets membership of Dubai Service Excellence Scheme Emirates Post has been granted membership to the Dubai Service Excellence Scheme (DSES), an initiative of the Department of Economic Development, Dubai, which aims to raise customer service standards in Dubai. Emirates Post was admitted into the DSES fold in recognition of the high service standards at its three outlets: Deira Main Post Office, Jumeirah Post Office and Al Musalla Post Office. Each of the outlets received a trophy and merchandising materials such as posters, stickers and danglers. The membership of Dubai Service Excellence Award means that Emirates Post will try harder to apply the highest standards of customer service at all its outlets, in an effort to live up to the guidelines set by DSES," said Mohammed bin Shaker, Zones Director, Emirates Post. "It also adds a further prestige to Emirates Post's image as a provider of high quality public services." By gaining membership of DSES, Emirates Post has obtained a stamp of approval for its meticulous attention to customer service. Like other DSES members, Emirates Post will be displaying the DSES certificate, plaque and Code of Ethics at its outlets. DSES binds all participating businesses to a common code of business ethics and core criteria for customer service excellence. The scheme complements Dubai Quality Award and Dubai Quality Appreciation Program. The scheme is open to all businesses, especially those from the service sector where customer service is the single most differentiating factor. The mission of DSES is to benchmark approved companies and organizations as models of customer service. Customers will associate DSES membership with high quality. Members have the collective responsibility of upholding the standards and guarding the scheme against malpractices.
