Lonestar Technical Services came into existence as a result of the demand that existed locally from various industries for a high tech, multi-disciplinary testing and investigation facility that can deliver products on time and can stand international scrutiny. In 1992 Mr. E. Keith Grigg and Mr. Syed S. Hussain met the industry requirement by establishing Lonestar Technical Services in the emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Since its inception the company has been continually growing and diversifying its testing activities; catering not only to the requirements of the UAE but also to other Middle East countries in the region. At Lonestar, tests are conducted in accordance with internationally accepted test methods and specifications. Due to cooperative agreements between Lonestar and other well reputed laboratories in Europe and the USA, it is possible to address the most complex analytical requirement, should the need arise. Most of the testing activities of Lonestar are encompassed within the following five departments: * Chemistry and Environmental Analysis * Metallurgical Evaluation and Failure Investigation * Physical Testing of Materials * Marine Thickness Gauging * Non Destructive Testing (N.D.T) The technical expertise offered by Lonestar Technical Services is truly as diverse as its staff, which has numerous years of work experience in their respective disciplines in the UAE, Europe, Asia and the USA. The staff at Lonestar is able to better understand and address problems in a more realistic manner. LTS can analyze extremely diverse sample types and matrices utilizing either standard methods or specifications or LTS can develop specialized testing methodologies to meet the client’s requirements.
