Drs Nicolas first established his small private clinic in 1991 at the now famous DNATA building in Deira Dubai. It was at this location that the clinic quickly established itself as a leading Dental Clinic, with an enviable client list including many senior airline personnel and prominent local families in the Emirates. The clinic's reputation for providing the very best treatments in a safe and sterile environment where patients could feel comfortable and relaxed, were unrivaled at the time. In 1994 Dr. Nicolas found himself unable to keep up with the demand for his services and was encouraged by patients and friends to look for larger premises. Somewhere that could take him nearer to realising his goal of, eventually becoming the Largest Private Dental Health Care Provider in the U.A.E . At this time two other prominent Swedish Dentists were looking to return to the Middle East having practised General Dentistry previously for three years in Dubai. Husband and wife team Dr. Sven & Joan Asp, who were already highly regarded by their professional colleagues and members of their own community and shared the same standards and visions , returned to join Dr. Nicolas at his new premises, a small but ideally situated villa the centre of Jumeira. Today Drs. Nicolas & Asp clinic, having undergone several renovations and facelifts, comprises of eight well equipped surgeries for our General & Specialised doctors, a purpose built sterialisation room, where all our hand held equipment is Autoclaved (steam cleaned under pressure) a large and welcoming reception area with the latest computerised dental software for a speedier appointment and billing system and spacious, relaxed waiting rooms including a ladies and children's area, where refreshments are served.. Our 25 qualified staff operate the clinic from 8.00am-8.00pm Saturday-Thursday Friday closed , we also offer a 24hr 7 day Emergency call out service. We have not finished and further plans for expansion including more rooms for specialist doctors and a purpose built Pediatric Unit are due for completion in 2002. This is another exciting phase in the history of Nicolas & Asp, which without the continued support of our patients and the efforts of everyone involved would not have been possible. At Dr. Nicolas & Asp we offer more than just General Dentistry. Our team of Dental Surgeons and Specialists ensure all our patients are given the best and the most up-to-date treatments available. It has always been our aim to keep our patients well informed. After completing a thorough dental examination, all possible dental procedures are thoroughly discussed between the patient and dentist. This is in order to create a treatment plan to guarantee the best possible treatment is offered. The length, expected results of the treatment and the cost involved are also discussed at this consultation. The clinic operates from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, Saturday through to Thursday. The clinic is closed on Fridays. However, we offer a 24 hour Emergency Dentist call out service if the need should arise.
